Florida law requires a permit for every roofing job beyond a minor patch. That means every legitimate replacement is filed with the county — date stamped and publicly accessible. FirstKnock pulls directly from those records. When we show you a home with no permit in 20 years, that's not an estimate. It's a government record.

Where does the lead data come from?

County property appraiser records and municipal permit portals. Every lead is backed by a real building permit on file — no proxies, no year-built guesses. Jacksonville roofing and HVAC come from JaxEPICS (City of Jacksonville permits), Pinellas roofing, HVAC, and solar from pcpao.gov (covering all 21 city/county agencies), and Tampa from the City of Tampa Accela permit system (2009–2026).

How recent is the data?

Data is refreshed monthly. Each lead shows the permit year so you know exactly how old the roof is and whether the homeowner is in the typical 20–30 year replacement window.

What does a lead include?

Owner name, property address, parcel number, permit year, year built, structure type, and (where available) mailing address. You can export your unlocked leads as CSV or print a contact list.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Subscriptions are month-to-month with no contract. Cancel from the customer portal — your remaining credits stay usable through the end of the billing period.

What is the founding discount?
